Easiest set up of my life, these ultralight straps are an absolute game changer, I have never set up a hammock before in my life and with these straps, took 2 minutes tops. And so easy to adjust the hammock is too low or too high.

Alton Goods has produced another high quality product here, the amazing UHMWPE sleep straps, these straps are extremely strong and light. The sleep straps roll up so small that I just pop them into the excess room in the top of my ultralight hammock bag. The great thing about all sleep straps is that they don't damage trees, in the picture I have two hammock line set ups, the old rope system and the new UHMWPE sleep strap. You can see that the rope has dug into the bark of the tallowwood, the sleep straps also mean that we can leave no trace around the parks and forests. Sam at Alton Goods has always provided excellent advice and service for me as this is my first hammock and sleep straps, I initially didn't think that they were necessary but I have found them to be more efficient with the set-up. Instead of faffing about tieing and retieing my ropes till I have the right length, all I need to do is pop the hammock caribiner up and down the premade loops. I do think that there could have been more loops, possibly in a higher section of the straps for smaller trees but this is overcome by simply wrapping the straps around the tree more. All in all these are great products from a great Queensland small business. Happy customer!
Small, light and long enough to go around large trees and still have enough length to hang your hammock
They are a little narrower than the tree straps I use, only by a few millimeters though. These new straps simplify the set up and adjustment. A great addition to my Alton Ultra light hammock.
