Excellent light weight hat with wide brim, also quick to dry. As others have mentioned, the strap is a bit long for someone with a small head but I tied some Dyneema on mine and it holds the tail nicely. Definitely recommend! Alton - would love to see a black on black version!
Favourite hat to use, hiking, camping or otherwise
I love this hat! It is super lightweight and comfortable and looks great. I like how it doesn't have the hard stud at the crown so it doesn't hurt your head if you bang it from the top, it also makes is easy to scratch your head if it's itchy. The plastic clip on the back is convenient to strap to a bag or belt loops on trousers. I found the strap too long at the back but after adjusting to my size I cut it and re sewed the end which wasn't difficult. Definitely recommend this product to others!
I’m not someone who wears hats as I find most of them annoying and uncomfortable. I purchased the trailhead cap as a spare of the moment buy when in store and I’m really happy that I did. It is the most comfortable cap I have owned. And being able to leave it stuffed in my backpack without the brim getting all bent up is fantastic. Having it with me most of the time I find I am always using it. Best spare of the moment purchase I have ever made.
Loving this Hat! Was looking everywhere for a light weight trail cap and saw Alton released one! It's super light weight, packable and keeps its shape. Love the green, and it fits so well. One thing - I wish there was a little opening or something to put the excess strap in, but I just tuck it in, so no big deal. I also love the buckle, helpful for those with long hair. Would love to see a black one!
Great light weight cap
Easy to tighten, fits great. Love the colour and its so lightweight.
The hat is so light it’s like it’s not on your head. The brim is a little wider than most baseball caps, so keeps the sun out of your eyes more. And with the flexy brim, you can jam it in your pocket if you want without wrecking it!
