Protect Your Sleeping Mat Investment
Let’s face it, camping is dirty. And whatever’s on you – sweat, dirt, sunscreen, insect repellent – can end up getting ground into the surface of your sleeping mat. But not anymore. Alton’s Sleeping Mat Fitted Sheet is your first line of defense against dirt, grime, and whatever else the wild throws at you (or on you). Washable and easy to care for, this Fitted Sheet isn’t just cleaner and more comfortable for you, it also protects your sleeping mat from damage and keeps it in great condition for longer.
Want To Sleep Better Camping? Try This.
Light, compact and packable, this Sleeping Mat Fitted Sheet delivers BIG comfort gains. It’s made from a brushed moisture-wicking polyester fabric that helps regulate body temperature, so you can sleep directly on your sleeping mat without getting stuck to it. Plus, the soft-touch fabric dampens noise, so you can roll over, shift and stretch as much as you like – without waking up everyone in the campsite or scaring off all the wildlife. You’re welcome.
Holds Your Pillow in Place All Night Long
No more waking up in the middle of the night to find your pillow has slipped off the top of your mat yet again. The Sleeping Mat Fitted Sheet comes with an ingenious built-in pillow pocket that holds your pillow exactly where it should be – right under your head. Unlike methods that ‘stick’ your pillow directly to your mat, the integrated pillow pocket can be used with any shape or style of camping pillow (or even multiple pillows at once, if you’re feeling fancy), and it doubles as a soft yet protective pillowcase at the same time.

A great addition to my sleep system
Exactly what I was looking for. I love this sleeping mat. Comfortable, warm to use, light weight and feels really durable so you don't need to worry about getting a leak. Very reasonably priced compared to other brands on the market. I also purchased the fitted sheet, which complements the pad and adds a extra layer of comfort. I would highly recommend this product if you are in the market for a new sleeping pad. Looking forward to purchasing some other products Alton has to offer. Matt
I own a Thermarest Neoair XTHERM NXT in Regular Wide and wanted to have a more muted color for this as well as a pillow function. Google brought me Alton, I asked the support about the size and as you can see it is an almost perfect fit with the fitted sheet in regular wide - even if the pad is mummy shape. Shipping to germany was fast, quality is nice, I added a trimmed Tyvek sheet underneath which is also hold by the Alton fitted sheet - now I have a good color, pillow and protection from the ground - couldn't be better!
Fits everything
Very comfortable material, haven’t had the chance to use it yet but set it up in the lounge and is extremely comfortable and easy to fit. Packs down to about the size of a roll of paper towel.
Great design, comfortable fabric. Fits the S2S Etherlight regular wide mat beautifully. Very impressed with the customer service, and quick shipping.
This fit my large sea to summit ether light xt insulated mattress perfectly!
Fitted to S2S Ether Lite Large Rectangular mat. Fits perfectly. Have used a couple of times now and it’s slightly more comfortable and a bit quieter. Still rolls up when fitted into the bag the mat came in. I’ve also used the S2S Areos Premium pillow and it tucks in neatly to the sleeve of the Alton sheet.
This sheet is great. The large size sheet fits a Helinox Convertible Cot (regular length) perfectly. Just fit the sheet before adding the legs to the cot.
I love how compact it is! This item is small and light enough for hiking, making for a great night's sleep anywhere. It is easy to fit and very well constructed.
Loved the addition of the fitted sheet so much I brought my son one too👍🏽 Highly recommend it
Fitted sheet is such a good idea. Not more noise nights in huts and losing your pillow. Easy to set up and compact.
Great bit of gear, tucks nicely away in my kit box!
As someone that doesn't like sleeping bags and finds sleeping on nylon unpleasant, this is a great product. Adds a nice texture to the top of my Alton sleeping pad, which makes it feel much more like a bed when I'm directly on top of it. Most of my camping is in very hot weather, and I hate that sticky, slippery feeling you get when you lie directly on your pad when your back is sweaty. It's easy to set up, and it packs down fairly small, I like it a lot. Just feels a bit pricey at $39.
This is a must. Small, but holds your pillow and all your sleeping gear together.
This sheet is awesome. Fits super snug & flat over my Exped Dura 5R (size medium) mat with no annoying creases. The pillow pocket is genius. I use it with my sleeping bag open like a quilt, so comfy it almost feels like I'm in my own bed. Love it!
Had a good camping trip out in the bush, the whole setup was Alton including the thermal mat and fitted sheet! I’ve not had a comfier sleep outdoors ever, huge thumbs up!
Love my fitted Alton sheet! I am finally not having to chase my pillow around the tent all night! Best investment ever!
No more sweaty deet/sunscreen/slightly baby wiped off legs sticking to my hiking mat again! After just one use I already know that this fitted sheet will forever be a staple in my hiking pack. It is well worth the extra 300g in weight - what a great nights sleep. I have no idea how my pillow goes on such a wander while I'm sleeping but that's not an issue anymore thanks to the handy pillow sleeve. Amazing!
Makes a great product fantastic.
Worked brilliantly with our Sea to Summit Comfort Plus SI Rectangular Wide sleeping mats (183L x 64W x 8D cm). It has a soft texture that reduces the noise and somehow makes your mat cosier. The pillow pocket is also a charm. It's an immense pleasure not fighting your pillow to stay in place!
Nice and soft, reduces noise and slipping. Also love how it holds the pillow in place!
This is such a huge step up from my old sleeping mat in both comfort and packed size. Love that there is a fitted sheet as well!
Love the mattress cover. Makes it super comfortable to sleep on, especially during warmer weather. The pillow sleeve is excellent also. Allows for a fairly large inflatable pillow. Holds in place well without it slipping out. 5 out of 5 stars.
If you get the sleeping mat, and especially if you use a quilt, get this. Makes it far quieter and more comfortable. We’ll worth it.
Really great idea, and cheaper / simpler than a certain other brand that incorporates baffles and down. However, it is cut narrow at the bottom, so on all my pads, which are not heavily tapered, it bends them up like a banana. The head end is fine. Would be perfect if it was more rectangular, as the elastic around the outside makes up for other minor differences in pad size.
Holds everything in place perfectly and easy to put on
I used this on a Nemo Tensor insulated large pad, it fits like a glove. Soon I will invest in the Alton quilt and the sheet and quilt will work perfectly for my needs!
Fitted sheet is perfect Holds pillow in place and fits snug over mattress… Awsome product
The first time I slept without having to adjust my pillow! It even reduced the noise of my S2S XT mat (and yes it does fit too). Keep up the good work Alton!
Works perfectly with my Thermarest Neo-lite NXT. No more sloppy slidy and no more lost pillow. It was also a bonus 50g lighter than advertised. Love it!
So good having the fittedf sheet covering my mat & providing a space to hold my pillow, which meant the pillow was in the right position all night. So good
Love how well this fits on the sleeping mat and holds my pillow in place
Just a bit too heavy it’s over half the weight of the mat! I think you have missed the mark on this one. For longer trips where every gram counts I think you should come up with a light weight alternative around 100-150 grams would be ideal 200gtams tops. There’s a gap in the market here Love your mat and quilt though! Cheers
Super comfortable and fits my rectangular pad well. A little awkward to fit but stays put. Love it
Arrived super quick, beautiful packaging and the best part was that the mat is extremely comfortable. Highly recommend
Such a clever design and soft! The best bit- no escaping pillow
Quietened the dreaded noisy 'turn-over' and just felt fresher in the morning. Love that I can wash the cover and feel fresh in the tent. Thankyou Alton!
Game changer! Just got back from a three day walk, and having used my Alton fitted sheet for the first time I can honestly say this singular item has made more improvement to my sleep quality than anything else in 30 years of hiking. Nice to sleep on (we had one cold night and one warm night - it coped admirably with both). Keeps my pillow in place - the angels wept! Worth the weight, especially if you're a quilt person. For reference, I use a Sea to Summit Comfort Plus XT (yes, the one recommended for car camping. So I'm a princess, I'm owning it). I bought the Alton Regular Wide fitted sheet and it fits beautifully.
