Get The Most Out Of Your Sleeping Mat
For fast, breath-free setup at camp, we recommend using the Alton Ultralight Pump Bag or the Flextail Tiny Pump. Once inflated, take a moment to fine-tune the firmness to your preference using the micro-adjustable valve. Remember, if you're sleeping as a couple, you'll likely need less air pressure than you think. The combined weight of two people naturally increases surface tension, so a slightly under-inflated mat can offer more comfort and support for a better night’s sleep.

Really enjoy using this mat, have encountered a small issue with the insulative foil inside the baffles coming loose though. Doesnt affect inflation only insulation.
Really disappointing. Thought this was a high quality product and it ripped upon second use. The team were really unhelpful in terms of warranty claims so beware of the quality of this item.
Wow was I pleasantly surprised. This nice & thick double mat was easy & quick to inflate (I started with the pump bag but then switched over to my zero pump). We popped the fitted double sheet on & the mat was really super comfortable. Hubby & I slept on it with no issues. It was not noisy or crinkly & although we were both waking/changing positions during the night from back to side sleeping there was no slipping or rolling into one another. The ground we were on was a bit hard & stony but the 7.5cm thickness of the mat cushioned us from that. On our recent trip weight wasn't an issue as we drove to our camping site, but it basically weighs the same as 2 of our other brand single wide extreme mats. It would even suit a solo camper who just wants a bigger mat. Highly recommended.
Best inflatable mattress I’ve ever slept on!
I love the double matt. It packs up incredibly small for a double and the pump bag has it inflated in about 5mins. My partner is very particular about her sleeping equipment and she had a great sleep on it. It is worth noting that it was -3 and -5 for the two nights we were camping and it kept us warm. Highly recommend it!
I haven’t used it, but o brought it for my newly married friends and I can’t wait to see them put it in action

The mat is the perfect size for our tent (Zorali hiking tent). It took us ages to find a double mat that fitted and could roll up nice and small like this one. We have gone camping in it and we were super comfy all night. Highly recommend!

I use these for car camping with the family (family of 4). Previously using (not Alton) 8cm thick double self inflating mats. The Alton mats take up about a quarter of the size to pack and store at home and weight about 20% of the weight. The Alton double takes 8 fills of the pump sack to fill vs our previous 8cm Self-inflating mat (Not Alton's) takes an hour or so to fully inflate. Will be buying a second Alton double in the near future.
swapped out my double self-inflating memory foam mattress (that came with my swag) for this double insulated mat, and its so much better! would 100% recommend
Used plenty of others but this is pretty damn good. My 11 year son and I shared it and it was durable and held it’s air beautifully. I will however buy the recommended fitted sheet to stop us sliding off next time…!
The insulated version is probably the best double air mat on the market right now. It is super comfortable (especially with sheet to hold pillows in place) and most importantly it is wide and not tapered (much better dimensions than competitors). Pair this with a down quilt and you have a pretty cosy, lightweight set up. The air pump bag works well, inflates quickly and the mat is pretty good to deflate and fold up. The R value seems true to rating - we had it down to freezing on a timber tent platform and it was good but I probably wouldn't take it too much colder without added insulation. It is still fairly lightweight for what you get, but I'm not rating it 5 stars as it would be nice to have either a lighter weight or a higher r value for the current weight. Having said that, no other double mat matches this one.
Fantastic fast service from Alton crew. Superb quality. Haven't had the chance to use it on a hike yet, but did trial it at home (live on a farm so I camped out) I used it in a 2 person tent with only myself in it, as I would do on a hike, and it made for a Superb sleep
