Crafted from weatherproof materials, our All-Weather Notebook repels water, sweat, grease and mud. Record information clearly and easily with a rugged companion that fits in the palm of your hand.
Good notebook for camp sketching! I was surprised by how well it repels water and stays dry. Just a few things holding this back from 5 stars. I couldn't flip the front pages to the back of the notebook without cracking the plastic cover. This just makes it a bit awkward to use, but it isn't a deal breaker. Also, there's a small white mark on every page of my notebook (to the left of the tent in my drawing). Not a huge deal, just could be better quality. But I am definitely satisfied overall, love to get a new piece of Alton kit!
Since antiquity pictures have always spoken a thousand words. So “old-school” style, I figured I would use the product itself to (literally) write this review :) x
Handy pocket book for field works. Have some issues folding the paper through the ring when it got quite full or heavily used but otherwise no issues. Would also love to see a larger sized book
Second time I have bought these notebooks and they are amazing - I got the 3 pack this time instead of the single.
Bought them primarily to use at work as a Carpenter just so I could have something a bit more durable than a standard notebook, but have now worked their way into my everyday life.
Survived a trip in the washing machine, although not 100%. Could still use it afterwards however, and didn't lose any of the information I had written down.
Gave a page a test run with a HB pencil, biro and uni-ball pen. I completely wet both sides under the kitchen tap and wrote on the page straight away, worked great and mostly dried before getting it out in the sun. Just need to find myself a 2B pencil and will see how it goes with dirt, sweat and soot in the field.
I bought a bunch of these to issue to our Joey and Cub Scouts along with a hank of paracord. Intention being they use the notebook with other activities (e.g. record their pace counts) and keep in their personal kits. Great customer service from Alton Goods, will be back!

I've just gotten the All-Weather Notebook recently and while I haven't had a go at it in the field yet, did give it a good bashing at home and I can say that it holds up great!
Definitely recommend.
Great note pad, my partner is a driller I’m the territory
He says he no longer has to worry about torn or ripped pages caused from rain or sweat
Great for writing on and no smudges
Really like the peace of mind having an all-weather notebook on my hikes with me.
I hope you don't mind me suggesting, a slightly larger spiral would enable a short pencil to be inserted to have near to hand.
Water resistant paper is a must if you are an all weather adventurer. Tough enough to withstand the rough and tumble of the elements, and an important addition to your gear for those emergent situations where documentation is crucial.
I would recommend this to anyone who spend time in the wilderness as a "must have item" in their kit
This notebook was bought for my son who is an amateur prospector. He's often waist and elbow deep in water panning when he finds the need to take notes. This will be invaluable to him.
Order arrived today, 1 for the first aid kit and 1 for the map holder. Left the bottom of a page in water for 3 mins, wrote without issues with a biro whilst still wet and dried quickly.
