1 × ALL WEATHER ANORAK
Nanopore™ 3L Fabric Innovation
One of the longstanding problems with traditional rainwear is that it can either be highly waterproof or highly breathable – not both. But now, with our innovative Nanopore™ technology, we’re able to create high-performance rainwear that does it all. Achieving over 27,000mm for waterproofing and 24,000g/m²/24h for breathability, our Nanopore™ All-Weather Anorak proves that sometimes it pays off not to compromise.
Adaptable Protection & Ventilation
The All–Weather Anorak excels in high-output activities in adverse conditions. The nanoporous membrane allows vapour to escape, reducing condensation and keeping you dry, inside and out. Full-length YKK™ AquaGuard® zippers make it possible to adjust the level of protection and ventilation, as well as providing quick access to inner layers. And when the bad weather sets in, the adjustable hood with a built-in brim stabiliser gives you the protection you need to keep looking – and moving – forward.

I brought this jacket for one main role, to keep me dry on any adventure I find myself on. I was not ready for the quality Alton live by.
I just toured Japan for 2-3 weeks, seen MTN Fuji twice and my jacket was there to witness it all.
Hands down worth the pennies for the quality it provides
Thanks again to the Alton team.
Used this jacket a couple of times and loved the performance of it with great zips/venting and handy pocket areas. Kept me warm and cosy on a snow trip.
Unfortunately my press stud pulled out today on a walk which was disappointing.
I feel the jacket runs small for outerwear for what size I would try and purchase normally.
The front pouch could be lower on the jacket allowing for a deeper front zip and better hand positions when using the pockets.
First chance to use it today. Hammering down on my forest walk this am. Performed exceptionally well. Shorts were soaked, tee shirt was bone dry and minimal sweat thanks to the venting system which is easy to adjust without removing my pack.
If you are looking for a new rain jacket, you would do well to give it a try.
Been looking for a new rain jacket for a while and this ticked all the boxes. Great range of features: dual zipped vents, front pouch pocket combined with hand pockets, adustable peaked hood, cuff fastners and drawstring waist tightening. I love the smock front half zip - its 50% less chance of a leak!. Quality looks to be spot on and it rolls neatly into the hood for storage.
Will give you an update next rainy day that we have.
Great. Light weight and does everything it needs to do when it rains. Packs up small in my back pack. Let’s in air from using the zips so it does not feel like your wearing a plastic bag in high humidity
This is genuinely the best rain jacket I have ever used. I’ve tested other rain jackets like generic high vis work jackets, mac in a sac, frogg toggs, and many others that claim full waterproof rain protection. But absolutely nothing compares to the all weather anorak. I have used this on multiple camping trips. Used it all day in rain for 5-6 hours straight and stayed bone dry underneath. It really is incredible what they have achieved with this rain jacket. It is also breathable so you don’t work up a massive sweat and trap moisture inside like other rubber/plastic rain covers. Truly a marvel of engineering went into this thing and it’s well worth the price.
Worth the wait
I been waiting a while for the Anorak been getting other Alton gear in the meantime including Heritage Fleece
The Anorak is amazing!
Lightweight breathable and waterproof
Very happy with my Alton gear and the wonderful customer service
Used the anorak for the first time today. Victorian High Country in the Alpine National Park. A chilly day at altitude with constant rain. The anorak performed perfectly. The peaked hood is an excellent design. I have no hesitation in recommending the product.
Got this one for myself as a Christmas gift and had the opportunity to take it in a trip to Tassie!
This does exactly as advertised and Kept me dry as hell through the wet. I can't say I've had an opportunity to try it on whilst it's bucketing, but trust that I am excited to do so - this jacket really is just that good. It seems to do what a lot of other high performance jackets do, but for a fraction of the thickness and weight.
The too pouch is a bit of a game changer for those who need quick access to important items and don't want to carry a small bag for instance.
If I had a gripe, it'd be that the button lock on the roof pouch came off while I was opening it, but this wasn't an issue, I notified Alton and they replaced it free of charge.
HIGHLY recommend 💁🏻
Whilst the weather on our last camp didn’t require it, I tried it on for comfort and functionality……WINNER. Love all the adjustable vents and fittings and covers the backside area in heavy rain Ive gathered.
