Bought myself a pair of these hiking pants and I was very impressed. I went for a hike in thr Royal National Park and even went under Uloola Falls. I did get completely drenched and was exposed to intermittent light rain. What amazed me was that the pants became completely dry very fast. They are also lightweight, flexible, and were a perfect fit as well. Strongly recommended!
Hiked yesterday 30km in Kosciuszko national Park in the pants, most comfortable pants I've owned! So good.
I’m 197cm and the pants legs are too short by approx 5-7cm. The waist, cut and style are great just legs are too short. You should make them longer as short people can easily hem them up.
I recently spent eight days in the Simpson Desert conducting survey work, with temperatures reaching 50°C and sitting around 45°C for most of the period. The Switchback pants were outstanding. They handled the heat exceptionally well, provided excellent sun protection, and, aside from one rogue bull ant, kept everything else out. I did have a stumble on some rocks and landed squarely on my backside. Unfortunately, one of the pocket panels tore fairly easily as a result. That said, I’ll put an iron‑on patch over it and expect it to be an easy fix. Overall, they performed impressively in extreme conditions and were a comfortable, reliable choice for extended desert work.
Bit short in the leg, no zippered pockets and not very breathable, definitely not $150 pants
Switchback pants are awesome! Tested it on a long hike in the heat already: perfect! Even look decent to wear as normal panta too. 5 stars

Great set of pants. Just did very wet weekend overnight walk on the Bibbulum and the pants were super comfy. Despite the very heavy rain, the pants dried really quick. Only request would be for a zip pocket. Otherwise fantastic.
I don’t like buying pants without trying them on first but no problem with these. Sizing is spot on and fit very nicely. The material is robust but also has plenty of stretch. No hesitation in recommending these pants for any purpose.

Love these pants, although it cost me double, the first pair got stolen directly after the courier delivered them, was bummed out but stoked that I got another pair. Highly recommend these, great product and can’t wait to see this company grow ✌️✌️
Stretch fabric with excellent mobility (stretching) comfortable to wear. Seems to be cool in summers.
