In conjunction with the hammock, this bug net is a godsend. No mossies, no midges, sandflies, ants, nothing is getting in there. So light, compact and would highly recommend with absolutely no qualms It, like the hammock, gets an 11/10 from me

So tried this out with new paracord and ultralight hammock at my mates property in the jungles of Julatten NQ. It did the job really well. Perfectly in fact! I whipped the combination up in the dark after yarning around the fire for hours and it was too easy even then! Mind you the photo definitely shows I could have done better earlier! Too easy to slip through the zipped opening into the hammock and too easy to close up after entry and comfortable. Kept all the bugs at bay -and there's a few to speak of up there! The free hanging net under the hammock prevents critters biting me through the hammock material which is a problem on another of my hammock systems. Also gives options to go netless when you can. Ridgeline hanger bag a bonus for small accessories. Love it and highly recommend.
I trialled this in the evening which is peak mosquito time at our place. As soon as I got in and sealed it up I was comfy and had zero issues with mozzies. I was hard to make myself get out because as soon as I did they were all over me.
So easy to pack down. Having a removable bug net makes it great for around a campsite or picnic or setup as a full sleeping hammock
Love this sleep system!! The Alton Hammock is so quick and easy to set up, and the strong, ultralight tree straps lend extra reassurance too. Such a comfy dream to lie within :) And the bug net mesh is fine and rather easy on the eyes to see through into the beautiful Australian landscape! Love how easy it is to climb in and out through the generously wide, zippered openly. Absolute quality products! So pleased with all my Alton Good purchases!!

A very functional piece of kit, Don't let the sheer size fool you, Its very spacious once it is set up with plenty of room for movement for that all-important positional sleep posture change in a hammock :)
I am really, really happy with this net! I actually love that it is a seperate unit - unlike some competitors which have built in nets. It's way more versatile. I can use it on the ground too. Really easy to set up, and easy access in and out with the generous zip opening. The quality, as with all the Alton Goods products that I have purchased so far, is second to none. The netting is super fine, pliable, and has adequate stretch - yet conforms back to original shape. I love this net!!!
I purchased the Tarp and Bug Net at the same time and now have taken advantage of the Hammock and straps package because it made my old hammock look ordinary :) All of the Alton Goods products are super quality after seeing this Bug Net and the Tarp.. Just about to jump on and get the ground sheet now and regret not doing the whole package in the first place, but keeping Australia Post busy during these trying times I suppose :P.. Slept like a baby even on a windy, rainy night! Bug net definitely kept the sand flys out! It fitted my hammock well and the included chord helped to keep my improvised tarp up.
So happy with this product. Easy to set up, works a dream. Simple for my 5 year old to open and close when getting in and out his hammock. Great product to stop the mozzies when camping near water or anywhere else. Thanks guys

Superglad I decided to purchase this at the same time that I got my Altongoods hammock. This bugnet is a musthave, where I live the sandflies get pretty intense. I was able to lie out in my hammock and read without the sandflies attacking me. Could see them swarming all around and yet I was able to enjoy the fresh air and a good book. Very grateful to Altongoods for this bugnet.

So many things to love. #1 Solid horizontal zip which is way better than a vertical zip. #2 5 clips to attach net to ridgeline. #3 Gear bag to keep stuff off the ground. #4 Seals well on each end. #5 Fine mesh that still lets through enough breeze. #6 Great price and why wouldn’t you support a rad Aussie brand.
I bought the bug net for my son's 10th birthday present, as the mozzies love him. It arrived just in time for our post lockdown/long weekend camping trip. So happy with this bug net, super quick and easy to setup. Getting in and out of the hammock is easy with this fitted. Kept out all the mosquitos and horse flies but let the breeze straight through.
This bug net is really good. The net is a very fine mesh that won't allow the smallest of midges through it, the seems are all high quality, and the room inside is very generous. It could have had two extra pull points on either side to open it up a bit more but it still does the job without them. Alton Goods has made a great system here that hangs high above the head and low under the body while still being easy to get in and out of.
The design of this bug net is fantastic, the quality is great and it's super lightweight. Shipping was fast and I'm very pleased with the product. I look forward to purchasing more from Alton Goods and supporting Australian business!
No bugs! Comfortable sleep, easy to add bug net to hammock, and no bugs made it through when getting into hammock unlike usual experience with tent. Delivered quickly, shaped well to match with alton hammock. Make sure you erect around the hammock not on top. Way better, you all probably know this but I stuffed it up first time.
My grandson is very happy with the hammock.
its great however you should put two zippers on each side so that you can get out either side also make the zippers longer that will make it easier to get in and out also maybe a Velcro strap so that i can roll the sides up when they're not zipped up to make it easier to get in and out. also you should make your hammock bags slightly bigger so i can fit both the net and hammock in one bag and not have to carry both small bags. overall it is the best product on the market. also why doesn't your hammocks have zips on them so i can zip my hammock up like a sleeping bag/cocoon.

This bug net is awesome. I have another hammock not from Alton but sure enough, the bug net doesn’t fail to amaze in it’s fitting around the other hammock. If you have any hammock and am looking for a net to keep those bloody mozzie off, Alton is the way to go for sure!
