Super happy with these! Super compact and I managed to drastically reduce the total weight of my tent. They scuff up pretty quickly but they did take an absolute beating and went into very hard ground super smoothly without bending or warping. The notches on the side make for easy removal and as I found out the hard way - in an absolute pinch they can also double as a spoon when you forget to pack your cutlery 😅
I love all of the gear that I have bought so far .. lightweight pegs are awesome.. tarp is outstanding 👌 gear bags are great also .. I'd love some more gear bags too
I'm excited to use these as my other tent pegs were cheap and low quality and these seem well made and have great reviews. However, had to take a star off as one of the reasons I was excited to get them was the cute rope design on the pegs, and the ones I got don't have this - just the Alton name branding :'( Sorry to remove a star purely for aesthetics but the rope design was great!
Very well designed and light weight! Went into the ground very easily, and holds a line steady.
These things are indestructible. They’re super light though! I for the life of me could not get standard pegs into some hard stony ground at Cypress Pine Campground, so I switched to the Alton pegs. I used a rock and absolutely gave it a smashing. The peg took a little damage but it slid into the ground like butter. Mind blown.
Sitting in my small gear pouch are these exact same pegs.. Decent price, quality tent stake.. As you can see I havn’t used them yet but without using them you can still feel by holding them the quality.. I’m sure they’ll work as intended just fine..
Great for adding a bunch of extra under cover area for not much weight. Loved that it had everything we needed for set-up and the para cord doubled as a handrail on a sketchy log crossing. It also feels really sturdy when you're pulling it tight so you feel comfortable setting it up to get rid of water properly.

A set of these aluminium pegs came with the Alton tarp kit - they are extremely light and strong - so I ordered an extra set to replace the ones that came with my hiking tent. Great value and equipment that I can rely on!
great gear, love the extra lite stakes. My old dry bags didnt stand up, but alton dry bags are still going strong.
I had some of these come with the tarp I purchased and like them so much I grabbed some extras for the kit. Always handy to have extra pegs when out and about! These are great for use in grass, dirt, rockbed etc, the only issue is they can sometimes be a bit short, but thats pretty easy to work around. The multiple loop holding spots is handy to have multiple guy lines out to one peg, the metal build makes them super light and easy to throw in the kit. The design also makes them really strong and resists bending on those awkward hammer or rock hits. The paracord loops that come attached could be a brighter colour to see on the ground, but thats just finding something to be picky about. All in all, another great product.
I’ve had several orders from here which have been extremely quick to arrive. Just received ANOTHER order from Alton Goods. Bought two packs of eight tent pegs which are soooo much better than the bent clothes hangers that others include with their tents etc. I’m now just eagerly awaiting my preordered 3x3 tarp for my next hunting trip. 👌🏻

These pegs are very light and extremely strong! Their design is exceptional! I swapped out my original pegs as soon as I could and I have been very happy after trialling them on the Conway circuit at Airlie Beach. I'm now going to swap out the couple I have in my hammock system as well. They are real quality, wonderfully light, truly strong enough to belt in to hard ground and easy to retrieve with the loop supplied. I highly recommend these tent pegs as a replacement for any you currently use and for those of you intent on saving weight but not at the expense of quality and security. Well done Alton goods!
I bought recently the UL Aluminium Tent Pegs from Alton Goods and the delivery was very quick. Today, I tested them with my new tent in our small backyard. My intention is to switch out the original hook-shaped pegs of my tent and tarp with these durable and light-weight ones. I am very happy with my purchase and can't wait for my next camping adventure to see how they are doing in different grounds.
The best stakes, I will replace all of the hooked steel stakes I have with these. I only wish they came in bright orange to make them easier to see.
We used the pegs in our latest camping trip where we had an unexpected thunderstorm. The pegs stood their ground pretty well. Also impressed by the cost to quality ratio. I have similar, more expensive ones from another brand which I broke one when I stepped on it with my motorcycle boots. The only negative thing I can say is that these pegs might be dangerous if you step on them without motorcycle boots.
Alton Goods have made an exceptionally strong tent peg with their new Ultralight Aluminium Tent Pegs. The tough alloy used is a great base, then they’ve added an additional spine to make it super strong. It looks like a miniature star post and is tough as nails. No problems holding my tent up in strong winds.
These are a bit lightweight & not that compact, prefer more traditional hook type pegs

Used once and felt the difference immediately. Good design and quality. Will be getting some more to replace cheap and nasty pegs that came with the hiking tents.
Pretty disappointed, first use and the peg snapped going into the ground. The ground was firm but not rocky, other pegs used in the same ground had no issue.
Perfect replacement for the ones that I left behind on my last trip. Lightweight and strong.
The pegs seem tough, light and went in the ground well. The loops are good but would be better if they were a much brighter colour. Price is very good compared to other similar pegs. Quick delivery too

Bought 2 sets of these. 1 to replace the standard pegs of a hiking tent (which reduced a fair bit of weight!) and the other as a spare set when needed when car camping or if I get another hiking tent. Highly recommend these!
