  • Nikwax Tent & Gear SolarProof® Spray can be applied to wet or dry fabric, and there is no heat-activation required. For best results, apply to new equipment before first use. 

    Application instructions:

    1. Ensure the item is clean.
    2. Set up or lay the item out flat for even coverage. 
    3. Spray treatment evenly over the outer surface of the fabric from about 15 cm away. 
    4. Leave for 2 minutes, then wipe off any excess treatment with a clean, damp cloth. Reapply treatment to any areas that have been missed.  
    5. Allow the item to air dry completely before packing it away or using it.

How to Use Nikwax SolarProof® Spray

Ensure your gear is clean and free of grime or debris. Lay the item out flat, or if you’re treating a tent, set it up. Apply Nikwax Tent & Gear SolarProof® Spray evenly over the entire outer surface, ensuring no areas are missed. Wait two minutes, then wipe away any surplus product with a damp cloth. Leave the item dry completely before packing it away.
