It does what it supposed to do.
These are really handy to have in your pack. So many uses at at the price you can afford to have a few of them in your gear. The text on a lot of products these days is so small and if you don't have your glasses handy then these really come in use.
First time I've tried one of these. Can start a flame as easily as a glass magnifier. Credit card size and comes with a protective sleeve so no breakage or scratching. Handy little piece of kit!

It is light weight, credit card sized so very easy to carry. Originally it was just going to serve as a back up fire starter but it has fast fallen into the category of "you never knew you needed until you have it" and swiftly moved into to my EDC

Fantastic piece of kit. Small, light, and does the job. Cannot undervalue the ability to create fire using just the sun and this lens in the bush.
The Fresnel lens is so handy. I keep it in my wallet. Have used it to start a campfire & found it brilliant when I forgot my spectacles too.
Used it the other day to get a closer look at a splinter that needed removing , worked a treat . No doubt it will have other uses in the future and it is going in my hiking survival pack .
These are a great bit of kit to have in wallet and packs. For reading maps and playing bushcraft fire guru. The Alton one are holding up to the abuse the kids give them.

A great addition to your emergency kit. Compact and easy to stow. Great for so many applications - from a sure fire option for getting a daylight campfire started, to unravelling botanical mysteries (and tons of uses in between), this little gem's got you covered.
This lens is just what I was looking for - mid 50's and eyes not what they used to be. Now I can read my paps and GPS with ease...actually even better - magnified!
