Nikwax Tent & Gear SolarWash® (500ml)

• Dosage: approximately 50ml of product per 1 m² of fabric.
• Easy to apply by hand, non flammable, PFC and aerosol free.
• Designed for use on tents, tarps, backpacks, awnings and other outdoor gear made from synthetic fabric, cotton, and canvas.
• For best results, use in conjunction with Nikwax Tent & Gear SolarProof® Spray-On protective treatment.  
• To clean outdoor apparel or synthetic sleeping bags, use Nikwax Tech Wash®.

Nikwax Tent & Gear SolarWash® is designed for use with tarps, packs, awnings, and other outdoor goods made from synthetic, cotton, or canvas textiles. For the best results, use in conjunction with Nikwax Tent & Gear SolarProof® Spray-On protective treatment. For larger items, we recommend working in sections.  

Application instructions: 

IMPORTANT! Wear gloves. 

1. Prepare your working area by laying down a plastic sheet or cardboard, then pitch or lay the item flat. Shake the bottle well before use. 
2. Holding the spray bottle 15cm away from the item, spray evenly over the exterior face of the fabric, using approximately 50ml of product per 1m². 
3. Rub the product into the fabric surface using a damp cloth or sponge. Use a soft nylon brush to remove stubborn stains if necessary. 
4. To rinse, saturate a sponge or cloth with clean water and wipe over the fabric until all product residue is removed. Marks may appear if the excess product is not wiped away.
5. If you are treating the item with SolarProof® Spray, apply the treatment while the item is still damp.  
6. Allow to air dry before use or putting into storage.
