The Alton sit pad is easy to take anywhere, here in Wollemi NP
Lightweight and makes sitting or kneeling on a cold/damp/bumpy surface much more comfy and easily packs in the front of my hiking bag so it’s quick to grab when you need a sneaky 5 minute sit down.

This mat is really well designed. The dimples fit together making it a very small and very light bit of kit. The foam is dense but really light. Comes in a very light bag too. I love it. Great bit of kit with multiple uses.
It’s a sit pad. What is with the cheap (landfill) bag it comes with? Really not needed.
So easy to use, so practical, it works and it’s so so light. After using mine I had to buy one for the whole family.

Light and well made - not my first Alton purchase and won't be the last. I'm 180cm and there's plenty room above my head and below the feet to stay off the ground. I am hoping it lasts as long as the other Alton gear I have.
A great little addition when I don't need or want the camp chair and warmer. I sometime use it as a kidney/back warmer with the ALTON Ultralight camp chair.

Exactly as advertised, if not better! Such an invaluable addition to my hiking set up. Light weight and comfortable, I took it on the Overland Hike in Tassie this week and it was so handy, so comfy and so easy to pack. Highly recommend!

So light, so comfy. So we bought 2 more to gift to friends.
My wife and I have been looking for a seat mat like this for ages. We didn't buy anything as the more famous brands were very expensive and didn't represent value. Looked at some cheap options and the quality was poor. Stumbled on Alton via social media. Bought two (my wife and I). They are fantastic. Worked really well and are comfortable. Being in our 60s we have also taken them on trips such as going to the beach, even used it on the old wooden seat on the Manly Ferry. Some of the other passengers were looking enviously at us. Get some they are great.

This little pad is great, super light, don't even notice it on or in Your pack and well worth the money. Comfy to sit on and stops the cold ground sucking the heat out of your backside. Great addition to my gear. Thanks again Alton.
We took the sit pads out for two nights on our newly acquired trailer sailer. We use it as a motor sailer. We sit on the mats in the boat but also added padding when we go off in the kayak.
This thing is so light, you won’t know you’re carrying it. I bought three for a group hiking trip. They’re so easy to carry in a pack I was prepared to carry all three if the others weren’t convinced. They were though- who doesn’t like a dry and comfortable spot to sit while eating lunch on the trail!

I haven't used it in situ yet, but have purchased it for when I go sketching outdoors. So very light, can't believe it. Comfortable and will keep my bottom dry and warm haha.

Bought the sit pad recently as I'm travelling overseas in the next few weeks and I needed something light weight and compact. I already own a Sea to Summit self inflating cushion bit it's bigger and not so convenient , nothing wrong with it as such but couldn't resist trying out the Alton take on it and I'm very pleased I did ! Very light weight and compact . I was a little bit dubious at the start but I've been trying it out on park benches and cafe seats and it's great . It doesn't slip around and almost massages your rear ! Easy to slip into a bag , doesn't take up much space and very well priced !! Thanks guys .
