Designed for Hammock Camping

We created this Ultralight Aluminium Carabiner with hammock camping in mind. The hot-forged construction prioritises material where it is most effective, resulting in a finished product with an incredible strength-to-weight ratio. This technique also ensures a smooth, rounded load-bearing surface that reduces wear on ropes, straps, and other gear, extending the lifespan of both the carabiner and the equipment it connects to.

Ultralight & Ultra-Strong

The compact dimensions of our Ultralight Carabiner mean that it is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, yet can still easily support your weight in hammock camping scenarios. And when we say easy, we mean it; with an impressive 12kN force rating, this Ultralight Aluminium Carabiner is well above the recommended standard for hammock camping purposes (4-5kN). Please note this carabiner is not intended for climbing, mountaineering or other high-risk activities that require life-supporting equipment.

Engineered for balanced, reliable loading and user-friendly performance, our Ultralight Carabiners feature a classic D-shape that directs the load to the strongest part of the carabiner, along the spine. As well as maximising the carabiners strength, the D-shape design helps keep ropes and gear aligned correctly. When it comes to attaching and detaching ropes, straps or gear, the wiregate closure and precise nose geometry provide a smooth and efficient clipping experience, even with gloves on.
