Premium Materials & Construction

From humid coastal ranges to stormy alpine nights, Primaloft® Gold insulation delivers consistent warmth and performance in a huge range of conditions. Capable of retaining warmth when wet, it dries faster than untreated down, and holds its loft trip after trip. The 15D ripstop nylon shell treated with a C0 DWR coating adds an extra layer of protection against light moisture, so you can rely on your Synthetic Sleeping Bag to perform wherever you take it.

Thoughtful Design, Real Comfort

Alton’s Synthetic Sleeping Bag features a smart, comfort-enhancing design with an adjustable hood, 3D draught collars at the neck and along the zipper line, and a spacious square foot-box. The differentially-cut baffles help prevent cold spots and keep heat where it needs to be. The result is a Synthetic Sleeping bag that’s warm, compact and genuinely comfortable to sleep in.

Responsible Performance

Our Synthetic Sleeping Bag is designed for high performance without trade-offs. Filled with premium Primaloft® Gold that is free from animal products, made from 100% post-consumer recycled content, and is OEKO-TEX® certified, ensuring it meets the strictest environmental and ethical standards at every stage of production. On the outer shell, the PFAS-free C0 DWR treatment efficiently sheds water without the use of toxic forever chemicals, providing optimal moisture resistance in varied conditions.

Proven Warmth For Wilderness Conditions

Our Synthetic Sleeping Bag is available in three temperature ratings — +5°C, 0°C, and −5°C, all of which have been third-party tested and certified by the EN ISO 23537-1:2022 standard. The ratings listed are lower limits; we recommend selecting a bag with a lower limit a few degrees warmer than the coldest conditions you expect to encounter.
